  • Project Goal

The AI Fortune Genie project aims to provide users with an easy way to scan their faces through an app, where
AI technology analyzes the structural features of their face—such as the eyes, nose, mouth, and forehead.
Based on these analyses, the app offers insights into personality traits and daily fortunes derived from face-reading principles.

    Process 01 - Competitor Analysis

In the early stages of the project, there was no clear mission or specific goals for the service. I first researched
top-priority competitors, analyzing their strengths and weaknesses, categorizing essential elements,
and comparing them with our MVP.

    Process 02 - Phase 1 & 2

Dividing the project into Phase 1 and Phase 2 ensured a clear, structured process. Phase 1 focused on laying the foundation—defining the concept and features—while Phase 2 refined and validated the design through testing and user feedback. This approach minimized risks and ensured a seamless final product.

    Process 03 - Planning & Collaboration

Developed user flow based on MVP and business requirements.
Collaborated with a senior UX planner to restructure the service’s MVP and design the service flow.

    Process 04 - Design Guide

Key questions that shaped our service design strategy

Do the users' needs align with our current MVP?
How can we increase user engagement?
How is an emotional connection formed?

Even if a project is discontinued, the insights gained in the
process are valuable assets that can lead to the success of
future projects. Lessons learned from failures provide a
    foundation for making better decisions.
    These insights will
be highly beneficial for future product development and
    project management.
